Prototype Mock

STRONG ROOFS.
HONEST CREWS.

A concept prototype — a reimagining from a blank page, built to prove the direction before a single dollar is committed. Not a delivered build, not a live client engagement: a starting point that shows what an entry-level refresh could look like.

A REAL COMPANY, REIMAGINED

The Business

Roofs, metal, and barndominiums

Exteriors of Texas builds roofing, metal buildings, and barndominiums across Magnolia and the greater Northwest Houston area — a real local company with real reputation to show for it.

The Problem

A dated template site

Their current site leans on a generic builder template — a low trust signal for a trades company whose whole pitch is doing the job right. The quality of the work doesn't come through online.

What a Prototype Shows

Direction, not a finished system

This mock proves a direction — the layout, the tone, the feel of a homepage built from scratch. It's a starting point, on purpose: not a full brand system, not a delivered build.

A HOMEPAGE, FROM A BLANK PAGE

A concept homepage — not the live site. It reframes the same business around strong roofs and honest crews, with one clear action: request a quote. This is the direction a full build would grow from.

Brand Direction · A Starting Point

A DIRECTION, NOT A DOCUMENTED SYSTEM

A prototype sketches the brand, it doesn't finish it. Here's the starting point pulled from the concept — a type wordmark and a small color direction. A full build would document and expand all of it.

Rendered from type only — no logo file exists yet. This shows the tone and lockup we'd start from, not a finished, delivered mark.

Color Direction

Sampled from the concept · a direction to refine
Accent · Brick Red#B5372B
Charcoal#161510
Warm Cream#F7F4EF
Warm Stone#7A756C

Pulled straight off the concept homepage — a brick red at home on Texas barns and metal roofs, grounded on charcoal and warm cream. A place to start, not a finished palette.

WHERE A PROTOTYPE STOPS

A prototype proves the direction — a homepage, a starting-point brand, a clear before and after. It deliberately stops short of a full brand system. That gap is the point: it's exactly what a full build fills in.
