Hissy Chick slings made-to-order Nashville-style chicken sandwiches from a truck and a storefront in Magnolia. Big flavor, bigger personality — and now a website that finally sounds like them. We rebuilt the whole thing, and it's live and taking orders.
Drag to compare — their old site vs. the one that's live now.
The Brief
The Business
Hissy Chick makes each Nashville-style sandwich to order — Chick Sauce, Creamy Serrano, Italian sweet sourdough. A food truck and a storefront on FM 1488, a loyal Magnolia following, and a voice with real swagger.
The Problem
The old page was flat and forgettable — no personality, no clear way to order, none of the noise that makes Hissy Chick fun in person. Great food hiding behind a bland front door.
What We Built
A fast, mobile-first site that talks like they do, points straight to online ordering via Square, and rides on a full brand system — color, type, wordmark, components — carried through a 6-piece ad set.
The Website
The real site at hissychick.net — every screen built to do one thing: get you a sandwich. Menu up front, online ordering one tap away, and the brand voice on every line.

The Asset Package · Hissy Chick Design System
The site isn't a one-off. It rides on a documented brand system — a type wordmark, an electric-teal palette, DM Sans top to bottom, and a component kit — so every menu, promo, and ad still reads unmistakably Hissy Chick.
No icon, no clip-art — the mark is pure type. DM Sans 900, uppercase, tight-tracked. Ink on light, white on ink, teal accent line either way.
#00BFC8#00A0A8#E0FAFF#111111#FAF9F6#6B7280Brand rule baked into the tokens: text on teal is always ink (#111), never white. Corners stay square — pills are reserved for CTAs and chips.
Your New Favorite,
…Chicken Sandwich. Made to order, every single time.
Hissy Chick Sandwich
Italian sweet sourdough, Chick Sauce, pickles. Add Creamy Serrano if you dare.
Zero rounded corners.
Cards are square. Only CTAs and chips get the pill treatment.
One accent, one typeface, square corners, pill CTAs — a tight system that keeps every future post, promo, and menu unmistakably Hissy Chick.
The Ad Set
Three campaigns — July 4th, Kids Cooking Camp, and the Website Launch — each built in feed and story formats, all pulled from the same system, so they never look off-brand.
